Doctor of Medicine (MD)
The TRPC.at program focuses on the pathophysiology of TRP ion channels and their role in diseases. Students will undertake research projects that combine basic science with applications in health and disease, thus contributing valuable insights to biomedical research.
In the Human Medicine program, students explore various medical disciplines including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical ethics. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for effective patient care.
The program is organized into multiple phases, comprising core and elective modules spread across semesters. Internships in clinical settings provide hands-on experience, culminating in a thesis based on original research.
Graduates acquire competencies in clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for effective medical practice. They also develop a solid foundation in medical sciences and ethical considerations in healthcare.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
