This program emphasizes the art of improvisation on the organ, developing students' creativity and spontaneous performance abilities. In the Master of Arts in Organ Concert Studies–Improvisation program, students focus on practical and scholarly training as organists, with an emphasis on the development of personal improvisational styles based on foundational skills acquired in the Bachelor's program. Key themes include advanced techniques in organ improvisation, performance practices, and musical interpretation.
The program spans four semesters, providing a structured progression through phases that include intensive coursework and practical training in organ performance and improvisation. Students will complete a thesis project, allowing for in-depth exploration of their chosen topics.
Graduates of this program gain specialized competencies in organ performance and improvisation, equipping them with advanced skills necessary for professional success in various artistic and academic settings. They develop a personal artistic voice and the ability to create original interpretations.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
