Das Bachelorstudium Musikerziehung fokussiert sich auf die Ausbildung von Musikpädagogen und -pädagoginnen. Neben dem Hauptfach Musikerziehung haben Studierende die Möglichkeit, ein zweites Unterrichtsfach zu wählen, um eine vielfältige Lehrkompetenz zu erwerben. Das Programm bereitet die Absolventen auf die Herausforderungen im Musikunterricht an Schulen vor.
Studierende beschäftigen sich mit Musiktheorie, Instrumental- und Gesangsunterricht sowie der Musikgeschichte. Das Studium fördert sowohl die praktische als auch die theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit Musik.
Das Bachelorstudium ist in 8 Semester unterteilt, die praxisnahe und theoretische Elemente kombinieren. Es beinhaltet auch Praktika zur Anwendung der Lehrmethoden.
Graduierte verfügen über umfassende Kenntnisse in Musikvermittlung und haben Fähigkeiten in der Didaktik sowie in der Durchführung von Musikprojekten.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
