Bachelor of Arts (BA)
The Bachelor of Arts in Music Education focuses on equipping future educators with practical and theoretical knowledge in music. The program combines performance, theory, and pedagogy to prepare students for teaching in various educational settings. Graduates are capable of mentoring students in their musical journey.
Students will study foundational music theory, pedagogy, and performance. Emphasis is placed on both classical and contemporary music styles to cultivate a well-rounded musical education.
The program is structured over three years, consisting of six semesters with integrated practical training and a final thesis/project. Students are encouraged to participate in workshops and ensemble performances.
Graduates develop a strong understanding of music pedagogy, performance skills, and the ability to communicate musical concepts effectively. They are trained to work in diverse educational environments.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
