The Master program TEXTIL/KUNST&DESIGN builds upon the Bachelor’s foundation with a focus on individual specializations in design and artistic research. It encourages independent project-based work, deepening the competencies acquired at the Bachelor level and allowing for specialization in technological and craft-based methods.
The program covers advanced studies in textile techniques, artistic research, and design theory. Students focus on creating a unique portfolio that showcases their artistic journey and industry readiness.
Organized over 4 semesters, the Master's program incorporates project work, independent research, and collaborative learning. A final thesis or major project is required to complete the degree.
Graduates acquire advanced skills in artistic expression, research methodologies, and design project management. They are prepared for leadership roles in the textile and design sectors.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
