Master of Arts (MA)
The Time-Based Media Master's program emphasizes the interdisciplinary study of various time-based media forms, including video, film, sound, and interactive systems. Students engage in their artistic, scientific, and transdisciplinary projects while receiving individual support. The program is designed to cultivate critical awareness regarding social and artistic issues, enhancing students' ability to independently conceive, develop, and present projects.
Students study various facets of time-based media including practical modules in video production, sound design, and interactive systems. The program also covers theoretical frameworks surrounding media practices and their societal implications.
The program is organized into four semesters, with a blend of project-oriented modules, theory classes, and a final thesis project. There are opportunities for internships and collaborative projects.
Graduates of the programme will acquire advanced skills in time-based media production, critical analysis of media content, and project management. They will be prepared to work in diverse roles within the media industry.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
