Das Bachelorstudium Kulturwissenschaften an der Kunstuniversität Linz bietet eine interdisziplinäre und künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit Kunst und kulturwissenschaftlichen Phänomenen. Studierende erwerben grundlegende Kenntnisse in Kernfächern wie Kulturwissenschaft und Kunstgeschichte und können sich auf spezifische Themen konzentrieren. Das Studium fördert kritisch-erprobende Erkenntnisse und ästhetische Praktiken. Nach dem Abschluss sind Absolventen für kreative Tätigkeiten im kulturellen Bereich qualifiziert oder bereit für weiterführende Studien.
Das Studium bietet eine umfassende Bildung in Kulturwissenschaften, Kunstgeschichte, Medienwissenschaft und Philosophie. Dabei werden sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Aspekte behandelt.
Das Bachelorstudium umfasst 6 Semester, in denen die Studierenden Kernfächer und Ergänzungsfächer wählen können. Der Studienverlauf schließt mit einer Bachelorarbeit ab, die einem der gewählten Fächer zugeordnet ist.
Absolventen:innen sind in der Lage, kulturelle Phänomene kritisch zu analysieren und innovative Lösungen für kulturelle Herausforderungen zu entwickeln. Sie erwerben interdisziplinäre Kompetenzen und sind gut auf kreative Berufe vorbereitet.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
