The Bachelor of Arts in Timebased and Interactive Media Arts offers comprehensive and professional access to the theory, technology, and design of digital media, merging the complementary focuses of time-based media and interactive art. The program emphasizes critical engagement with established media conventions and fosters interdisciplinary approaches to creating innovative artworks and formats. Students will develop their own artistic profiles and enhance their communication and teamwork skills to thrive in collaborative environments.
In the Bachelor program of Time-Based and Interactive Media Arts, students engage with the principles of audiovisual creation through hands-on experience in video, sound, and interactivity. The focus is on combining artistic and theoretical perspectives to explore contemporary media art forms.
The program is structured over several semesters, emphasizing project-based learning and collaboration with faculty and industry professionals. Students will complete various modules, culminating in a final project that showcases their artistic voice and technical skills.
Graduates develop critical competencies in media practice, project management, and creative problem-solving, preparing them for various roles in the media art landscape. They gain a strong understanding of contemporary artistic practices and technical skills relevant to the digital age.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
