The BA in Industrial Design focuses on the design and development of serial, innovative products. Students gain technical, constructive, material technology, strategic, and marketing knowledge while fostering creative and artistic innovation. With a strong emphasis on the connection of industrial design to digital networking, graduates are prepared for the evolving technology sector.
Students engage with design theory, practical workshops, and internships, exploring materials, ergonomics, and cultural contexts of design.
The program is organized into six semesters, featuring project-based modules and a compulsory internship. Students also take elective courses to tailor their academic experience.
Graduates develop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, alongside practical design and technical skills applicable to various industries.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
