Bachelor of Arts in Music Education
The Master's program offers an advanced professional training for educators who aim to specialize in teaching secondary general education. After four semesters, graduates will possess in-depth knowledge of teaching methodologies and curriculum development. The program emphasizes a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, thereby fostering critical thinking and adaptability in diverse educational environments.
The Teacher Education Programme focuses on developing pedagogical skills alongside instrumental music education and voice training. Students engage deeply with music theory, performance techniques, and educational methodologies.
The program is structured across several semesters, combining theoretical coursework with practical training. Students undertake internships and may be required to complete a thesis in their final year.
Graduates gain competencies in music education, performance, and teaching methodologies. They are equipped with skills to design educational programs and assess student learning in music.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
