The Bachelor's program in Teacher Education for Secondary General Education focuses on equipping future educators with a solid foundation in pedagogical skills and subject-specific knowledge. This program spans six semesters, integrating a practical semester to enhance hands-on teaching experience. Students will engage in diverse teaching subjects, including Music and Language Education, thereby preparing for effective teaching in a multicultural classroom.
The Teacher Education Programme focuses on developing comprehensive knowledge in music, art, and design education, ensuring educators are well-prepared to teach these subjects. Students engage with various topics including instrumental music education, music theory, and pedagogical methods specific to arts education.
The program is organized over several semesters, integrating coursework, practical teaching experiences, and a final thesis project. Students typically undergo internships that complement their theoretical studies, allowing them to gain practical experience in educational settings.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
