Bachelor of Arts (BA)
The Bachelor of Arts in Music Pedagogy prepares students for teaching music in schools and other educational contexts. The program combines theoretical and practical training, focusing on performance, music theory, and pedagogy. Graduates are equipped with the skills needed to engage students creatively and effectively in music learning environments.
Students study core areas of music pedagogy, including practical musicianship and theoretical foundations of music education. Emphasis is placed on classroom management, curriculum design, and the use of technology in music education.
The curriculum is structured over six semesters, culminating in a final thesis. Courses are offered in both practical and theoretical domains, with opportunities for internships in educational settings.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
