Das Masterstudium Steuerrecht & -management vermittelt umfassende Kenntnisse im Steuerrecht auf hohem Niveau. Studierende lernen aktuelle Steuerstrategien und -praktiken kennen und werden auf Führungspositionen im Steuerrecht vorbereitet. Durch praxisnahe Lehrinhalte entwickelt sich eine hohe Berufskompetenz.
Students in the Master of Tax Law and Tax Management program at JKU delve into complex tax law topics, including both national and international taxation, tax compliance, and financial crime. The focus areas include corporate tax issues, digital tax analysis, and the intricacies of tax management in organizations.
The program is structured over four semesters, accumulating a total of 120 ECTS credits. Students complete core subjects, elective courses in tax law and management, transversal themes, and a master’s thesis with an accompanying colloquium.
Graduates acquire a deep understanding of tax law combined with managerial skills, practical experience in real-world scenarios, and proficiency in modern digital tools relevant for the tax and finance sectors.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
