Master of legal and business aspects in technics (MLBT)
Das Masterstudium Recht & Wirtschaft für Techniker*innen kombiniert technische und juristische Kenntnisse. Es wird auf die besonderen Anforderungen neuen Technologien eingegangen, um technische Fachkräfte rechtlich zu schulen. Die Absolventen sind in der Lage, komplexe rechtliche Sachverhalte in der Technik zu bewerten und Lösungen zu entwickeln.
The Master in Law and Economics for Technicians (ReWiTech) covers complex issues related to new technologies, such as nanotechnology and biotechnology, as well as legal and economic assessments. Students engage with environmental, corporate, and criminal law, focusing on practical and interdisciplinary aspects of law and economics relevant to technical fields.
The program is organized over four semesters, comprising a mix of courses in law and economics, along with elective studies and a master's thesis. It offers flexibility for students to attend full-time or part-time, accommodating working professionals through block classes.
Graduates of ReWiTech acquire valuable competencies in economics and legal frameworks, making them versatile professionals capable of addressing the complex challenges faced in the technology sector. This program equips them with essential skills in both general and specialized areas of law and economics.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
