Master of Science (MSc)
The Master's degree program in Social Economics qualifies you to meet today's challenges in business, government, and society. It prepares you to pursue key management or other positions at social economic companies, work for interest groups, or at international organizations. You will not only learn how to conduct independent research but also have an opportunity to select a specialization in various fields such as public and non-profit finance, educational sciences, and sociology.
The program covers topics such as labor policy, social security, and diversity, allowing students to explore these themes from various academic perspectives. Specializations enhance their understanding in niche areas like economics or public finance.
The program is completed over four semesters, including mandatory courses, electives, and a master's thesis. Students will engage in practical seminars and workshops to hone their research and analytical skills.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
