The Master's program in Artificial Intelligence at JKU focuses on deep learning and reinforcement learning, equipping students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In the Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, students explore deep learning techniques and reinforcement learning, learning to design, train, and responsibly deploy AI systems. The curriculum covers recent advancements, including large language models and generative AI, as well as the ethical and legal implications of these technologies.
The program is organized over four semesters, comprising lectures, practical projects, elective tracks, and opportunities for internships. Students can choose specialized areas of focus within AI while engaging in practical learning experiences related to their chosen tracks.
Graduates develop competencies in advanced AI methods, data analysis, and machine learning, equipping them to tackle complex problems and innovate within various AI applications. They also gain a strong understanding of the societal and ethical impacts of AI technologies.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
