The Master's program in Artificial Intelligence prepares students to analyze machines and make complex decisions. The Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence focuses on modern deep learning techniques, including large language models and reinforcement learning, alongside ethical considerations and the connections between AI and law. Students will also engage with practical applications of AI in various fields such as healthcare and autonomous systems.
The program is structured over 4 semesters and includes an optional Elective Track allowing students to focus on specific areas such as AI for Simulation or AI and Life Sciences. The curriculum combines theoretical coursework with practical skills, culminating in a thesis project.
Graduates will acquire advanced competencies in deep learning, AI system design, and the ethical implications of AI. They will be equipped with the skills necessary to implement AI technologies across diverse sectors and to address social and legal challenges associated with these technologies.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
