The Bachelor's program in Transformation Studies. Art x Science enables students to initiate, develop, and manage transdisciplinary research projects addressing societal transformation processes such as digitalization and sustainability. The curriculum focuses on blending artistic and scientific methods, fostering creativity and innovative thinking to tackle complex global challenges. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles in public institutions, academia, and industry while being equipped for further inter-disciplinary master studies.
Students explore themes of digitalization, sustainability, and social transformation through interdisciplinary study. The program combines practical and theoretical knowledge from the fields of art and science. Emphasis is placed on creative problem-solving and innovative project development.
The program is structured over six semesters, integrating lectures, projects, and workshops across both universities involved. Students have opportunities for internships and can select two focus areas based on personal interests, culminating in a thesis project.
Graduates gain interdisciplinary competencies encompassing artistic, scientific, and social skills. They are equipped to analyze complex transformation processes and develop creative solutions to contemporary challenges, ready to collaborate in diverse teams and engage with a range of stakeholders.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
