Im Bachelorstudium Statistik und Data Science lernen Studierende, wie Daten analysiert werden können, um fundierte Entscheidungen in verschiedenen Bereichen zu treffen. Die Kombination von Statistik, Data Science und künstlicher Intelligenz ist einzigartig in Österreich und bietet den Studierenden umfangreiche Kompetenzen zur Analyse und Interpretation von Daten. Graduierte sind gefragte Fachkräfte in einer sich digitalisierenden Welt und finden Karrieren in der Industrie, im Gesundheitswesen und anderen Sektoren.
Studierende beschäftigen sich mit Methoden der Statistik und Datenanalyse sowie deren Anwendungen in verschiedenen Disziplinen. Themen wie Data Mining, maschinelles Lernen und künstliche Intelligenz werden behandelt. Es wird Wert auf interdisziplinäre Ansätze gelegt, um praktische Probleme zu lösen.
Das Studium ist in sechs Semester unterteilt und umfasst Lehrveranstaltungen, die eine Vielzahl von Themen abdecken. Zu Beginn steht die StEOP, gefolgt von Kernfächern und Wahlpflichtmodulen, die individuelle Spezialisierungen ermöglichen. Ein mathematischer Vorbereitungskurs wird angeboten, um den Einstieg zu erleichtern.
Graduierte erwerben fundierte Kenntnisse in Statistik, Mathematik, Informatik und deren Anwendungen. Sie entwickeln Fähigkeiten zur Datenanalyse, Problemlösung und interdisziplinären Kommunikation, die in der aktuellen Berufswelt sehr gefragt sind.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
