Das Bachelorstudium Maschinenbau an der JKU bereitet Studierende darauf vor, Maschinen zu entwickeln, die den Herausforderungen der Zukunft gerecht werden. In diesem Studiengang lernen die Studierenden, mechanische Systeme zu gestalten und die Integration von elektrischen und elektronischen Komponenten zu verstehen. Das Programm beinhaltet praxisnahe Projektarbeiten und fördert die interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit. Absolventen sind für verschiedene Ingenieurpositionen in der Industrie qualifiziert.
Im Maschinenbau-Studium beschäftigen sich die Studierenden mit der Konstruktion und Berechnung mechanischer Systeme sowie den physikalischen Grundlagen von Mechanik, Strömungslehre und Thermodynamik. Der Studieninhalt umfasst auch Themen wie Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik sowie elektrotechnische Systeme.
Das Studium ist in 6 Semester unterteilt und beginnt mit einer erheblichen Anzahl an Pflichtfächern, gefolgt von Wahlfächern, die spezifische Themen vertiefen. Zu Beginn steht die Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase (StEOP), die den Einstieg erleichtert.
Graduierte des Maschinenbaustudiums erwerben Fähigkeiten in der Planung, Gestaltung und im Betrieb moderner maschineller Systeme. Sie entwickeln Kompetenzen für die interdisziplinäre Arbeit und können sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Probleme analysieren und lösen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
