Das Bachelorstudium Technische Mathematik vermittelt Ihnen eine Kombination aus theoretischen Kenntnissen und praktischen Anwendungen in der Mathematik. Im Rahmen des Studiums erarbeiten Sie mathematische Modelle für technische und wirtschaftliche Fragestellungen. Die enge Kooperation mit Forschungseinrichtungen und Industrie sorgt dafür, dass Sie auch praktische Erfahrung sammeln können.
Im Studium lernen Sie die Grundlagen der Mathematik sowie deren praktische Anwendungen. Schwerpunkte sind mathematische Modellierung, algorithmische Mathematik und praktische Informatik.
Das Studium ist in sechs Semester unterteilt, wobei eine StEOP (Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase) zu absolvieren ist. Zudem umfasst es Projekte und Praktika in der Industrie.
Absolventen erlangen Kompetenzen in mathematischer Modellierung, analytischem Denken und der Anwendung von mathematischen Methoden auf praktische Probleme in verschiedenen Bereichen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
