The Bachelor's Degree in Biological Chemistry explores the intersection of biology and chemistry. The program is structured over six semesters, encouraging students to attain knowledge in theoretical concepts as well as hands-on laboratory experience. Students spend their first two semesters at JKU Linz and the next two at USB Budweis, returning for the final year to JKU. A thesis is required, focusing on either biological or chemical aspects.
Graduates develop competencies in laboratory techniques, analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. They gain problem-solving skills, an understanding of biological processes, and practical experience in scientific research, making them competitive in the job market.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
