Der Master bildet spezialisierte Umweltwissenschaftler tinnen und Umweltmanager tinnen. Das Studium vermittelt ökotoxikologisches Fachwissen über die Auswirkungen von Stoffen auf allen biologischen Ebenen. Absolventinnen sind in der Lage, potentielle Gefahren für die Umwelt zu erfassen. Mit dem umfassenden Wissen im Umweltmanagement kann ein Beitrag zu einem umweltverträglicheren Wirtschaften geleistet werden.
Die Studierenden lernen die Auswirkungen von Schadstoffen auf Umwelt und Gesundheit. Schwerpunkte sind ökotoxikologische Testverfahren sowie Umweltmanagementsysteme. Theoretische Inhalte werden mit praktischen Laborübungen verknüpft.
Das Studium ist in vier Semester gegliedert und beinhaltet praxisorientierte Projektarbeit. Studierende absolvieren ein Auslandssemester und arbeiten an Problem Based Learning Projekten. Die Masterarbeit kann in einem Unternehmen durchgeführt werden.
Absolventinnen sind in der Lage, Umweltanalysen durchzuführen und nachhaltige Prozesse in Unternehmen zu implementieren. Sie erwerben Kompetenzen im Bereich der Risikoanalyse und Entwicklung von Umweltstrategien.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
