Master of Science (MSc)
This master's program focuses on the artificial production of biological tissues and regenerative medicine, blending biology, medicine, and engineering. Students engage in research-driven projects aimed at developing therapies that replace damaged parts of the body and enhance natural healing processes. The curriculum emphasizes practical experience and includes specializations in areas like bioprinting and gene editing, preparing graduates for careers in medical and biotechnological fields.
Students will learn to generate various tissues, characterize these constructs, and apply the latest methods in cell and tissue biology. Emphasis is placed on understanding the interactions of engineered tissues with the human body.
The program is structured over four semesters, combining theoretical knowledge with practical lab sessions. Students also have the opportunity to engage in a double degree program and internships.
Graduates will gain comprehensive skills in biomedical science, project management, and process development, preparing them for advanced roles in research and industry.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
