The Bachelor of Computer Science (Work-Integrated) focuses on combining theoretical concepts with practical applications in IT. Students gain comprehensive knowledge in programming, data management, and system architecture, enhanced by hands-on experience through industrial placements. This program prepares graduates for diverse jobs in technology-driven sectors.
Students will study programming concepts, software development life cycles, and data analysis techniques. Key topics include algorithms, system design, and project management in IT contexts.
The program is structured over six semesters, with the first half focusing on foundational topics and the latter on specialized tracks, including a significant thesis and practical internships.
Graduates will acquire solid programming skills, understanding of software engineering principles, and competence in project management. They will be equipped with both technical and soft skills for effective teamwork and communication.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
