Das Bachelorstudium Medizin- und Bioinformatik kombiniert Informatik, Datenanalyse und Naturwissenschaften mit der Gesundheitsmedizin, um kompetente Informatik-Spezialisten auszubilden. Studierende erhalten eine umfassende Ausbildung und haben die Möglichkeit, sich auf Medizininformatik oder Bioinformatik zu spezialisieren. Das Studium behandelt Themen der IT, Datenanalyse und deren Anwendung auf medizinische und biologische Fragestellungen. Schwerpunkte sind die Verarbeitung und Analyse großer Datenmengen, sowie die Anwendung moderner Informatikansätze in der Medizin.
Die Ausbildung erfolgt über sechs Semester, die praktische Übungen, Projekte sowie ein Praktikum im sechsten Semester umfassen. Ein internationales Praktikum oder Forschungsaufenthalt kann realisiert werden.
Absolventen erwerben Fähigkeiten in der Datenanalyse, Informatik und spezifische Kenntnisse in Medizininformatik sowie Bioinformatik. Sie sind in der Lage, komplexe Systeme zu verstehen und innovative Lösungen im Gesundheitswesen zu entwickeln.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
