The Bachelor's program in Food Technology focuses on developing healthy and sustainable food. It combines knowledge of nutrition with scientific and technical principles to equip students for careers in food production and technology. It emphasizes hands-on learning through practical laboratory sessions and the integration of research projects. Graduates will be prepared to work in varied roles in research and development, quality management, and production of food.
Students will study topics related to food technology and nutrition, focusing on sustainable food production, processing, and safety. The curriculum includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in laboratories. There will also be an emphasis on research methodologies.
The program is organized across six semesters, culminating in a practical internship that may take place in industry settings. Students will engage in project work and complete a Bachelor thesis towards the end of their studies.
Graduates will develop competencies in food technology, nutrition science, and project management. They will be equipped with analytical skills and practical experience in laboratory settings, preparing them for careers in the food sector.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
