Das Bachelorstudium „Disability & Diversity Studies“ befasst sich mit der zunehmenden Vielfalt in der Gesellschaft und bereitet Studierende auf das Diversity- und Disability-Management in Unternehmen und Organisationen sowie die Assistenz und Beratung bezüglich Barrierefreiheit und Inklusion vor. Die praxisorientierte Lehre ist geprägt von Partizipation und Interdisziplinarität.
Studierende lernen, Vielfalt in verschiedenen sozialen und beruflichen Kontexten zu fördern und inklusive Ansätze zu entwickeln. Zentrale Themen sind Gender, Ethnic Diversity, Disability und die Schaffung von Barrierefreiheit in der Gesellschaft.
Das Studium gliedert sich in sechs Semester, welche theoretische Grundlagen und praktische Erfahrungen miteinander verbinden. Einblicke in die praktische Umsetzung des Gelernten erfolgen durch Projekte und Praktika.
Absolvent*innen erwerben Kenntnisse in Disability und Diversity Studies und sind in der Lage, Unterstützungssysteme zu entwickeln, um inklusive Maßnahmen effektiv umzusetzen. Sie haben Kompetenzen in interdisziplinärer und partizipativer Forschung.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
