The Bachelor program in Industrial Mechatronics focuses on the development, planning, and commissioning of industrial manufacturing and production systems. It combines mechanical engineering, electronics, and software development to provide an interdisciplinary understanding crucial for creating innovative technological solutions. Students gain practical experience through mandatory internships in industrial settings, ensuring a direct application of theoretical knowledge.
Students study mechanical systems, electronic circuitry, and the principles of software integration in mechatronic systems. The program also covers robotics, automation, and testing methods for mechatronic solutions.
The program is structured into six semesters, starting with foundational modules in engineering followed by advanced studies in applied mechatronics and a capstone project or thesis in the final semester. Internships in partner companies are integrated starting from the third semester.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
