The Master's program in Technical Management prepares a new generation of professionals to lead complex, technology-driven initiatives and projects at the intersection of business and technology. Over the four semesters, the program follows a clear two-stage structure. In the first year, you build a solid foundation in management, leadership, strategy, and organizational development, equipping you to lead teams, manage change, and make decisions in complex environments. In the third and fourth semesters, students choose a specialization in either Information Technology or Energy and Environmental Technology.
The program covers management and leadership skills integrated with technical understanding in areas such as information technology or sustainable energy and environmental technologies. It emphasizes understanding the bigger picture necessary to manage experts, projects, future technologies, and organizations.
Divided into two main phases, the first two semesters focus on solid grounding in strategic management, leadership, and personal development, equipping students with tools essential for future roles such as general manager or project leader. The last two semesters emphasize technical expertise and involve practical projects related to students’ specializations, culminating in a master’s thesis.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
