Das Masterstudium Architektur – Green Building setzt einen klaren Fokus auf nachhaltige, zukunftsfähige Architekturkonzepte und ist damit österreichweit einzigartig. Es vermittelt fundierte Kenntnisse zur aktiven Mitgestaltung der gebauten Umwelt unter Berücksichtigung ökologischer und gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen. Durch ein integrales und interdisziplinäres Curriculum ermöglicht es den Studierenden, innovative Lösungen für aktuell relevante Themen wie Klimaschutz und Ressourcenschonung zu entwickeln. Absolvent*innen können in vielfältigen Karrierewegen in der Architektur und Stadtplanung tätig werden.
In diesem Studiengang lernen die Studierenden, nachhaltige Architekturprojekte zu entwerfen und umzusetzen, indem sie sich mit den Prinzipien des umweltbewussten Bauens und aktuellen Techniken des ökologischen Bauens auseinandersetzen. Zudem werden Aspekte der architektonischen Gestaltung, des sozialen Wohnungsbaus und der Stadtplanung behandelt.
Das Studium ist modular aufgebaut und umfasst theoretische sowie praktische Elemente, einschliesslich Projektarbeiten und Exkursionen. Die Studierenden arbeiten an realen Projekten und entwickeln Fähigkeiten im Design|Build-Format, wodurch die Theorie direkt in die Praxis umgesetzt wird.
Die Absolvent*innen erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse über nachhaltige Baupraktiken, innovative Designansätze und die Fähigkeit, interdisziplinär zu arbeiten. Sie sind in der Lage, komplexe Bauprojekte zu planen und umzusetzen, die sowohl ästhetischen als auch umwelttechnischen Anforderungen gerecht werden.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
