The Integrated Safety and Security Management program educates students on handling extreme situations, accident prevention, and offender behavior. The curriculum emphasizes practical application through projects and collaboration with companies. Graduates will acquire management, security, and fire protection skills, making them fit for diverse roles in the security sector.
Students study topics in safety management such as fire protection, emergency management, risk analysis, and information security. The program features a blend of theoretical and practical coursework, which includes real-world projects and certification opportunities.
The program is structured over six semesters with a mix of classroom blocks and practical project work. Students will engage in elective courses and have the opportunity to work on a bachelor's thesis, applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Graduates will gain expertise in analyzing and implementing security measures, risk management strategies, and crisis communication. They will develop the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and make informed decisions regarding safety and security.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
