Das Bachelorstudium Hebammen an der Hochschule Campus Wien (HCW) bereitet Sie umfassend auf die vielseitigen Anforderungen im Hebammenberuf vor. Allumfassend erlernen Sie medizinische Grundlagen und Fertigkeiten sowie evidenzbasierte Praxisansätze, um werdende Mütter und ihre Familien in der Zeit von Schwangerschaft, Geburt und Wochenbett zu unterstützen. Praktische Lernerfahrungen unter Anleitung von erfahrenen Fachkräften sind ab dem ersten Semester integriert, was zu einem frühen Umgang mit realen Situationen führt.
Studierende lernen, wie sie evidenzbasierte Entscheidungskriterien bei der Betreuung von Schwangeren, Gebärenden und Wöchnerinnen anwenden. Dazu gehören Themen wie gesunde Schwangerschaft, Geburtshilfe und postpartale Unterstützung.
Der Studienablauf umfasst theoretische Module in Kombination mit praktischen Phasen, die sowohl im klinischen als auch im außerklinischen Bereich stattfinden. Studierende haben die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen von Praktika internationale Erfahrungen zu sammeln und sich an Forschungsprojekten zu beteiligen.
Absolventinnen und Absolventen des Studiengangs besitzen umfassende Kenntnisse in der Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege, insbesondere in der Hebammenkunst, und sind in der Lage, interdisziplinär zu arbeiten und evidenzbasierte Entscheidungen zu treffen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
