Master of Science (MSc)
EnvEuro is a two-year double-degree Master's programme focusing on critical themes such as soil, water, and biodiversity. Offered collaboratively by four leading European universities, it addresses Europe's environmental challenges, emphasizing the connection between natural resource use and societal impacts. The program allows students to specialize in areas like Water Resources, Soil Resources and Land Use, and more, tailoring their studies to their career goals.
The EnvEuro program encompasses critical themes such as soil, water, and biodiversity, focusing on the intricate relationships between natural resource usage and its environmental and societal impacts. Students engage in an array of environmental practices, legislation, and monitoring relevant to these areas.
The program is organized over four semesters, where students are required to complete 120 ECTS credits, divided into a basic semester package, two advanced semester packages, and a Master's thesis. Students will study at two different partner universities, with the first year at their home university and the second year at their host university.
Graduates will acquire essential analytical and management skills along with innovative technological tools aimed at promoting sustainable production systems and responsible use of natural resources. They will be well-equipped to address complex environmental challenges and contribute to environmental science.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
After admission: proof of sufficient funds, health insurance and the student residence permit are part of the visa process — not university admission. We cover those in the guides.
