Der Bachelorstudiengang 'Holz- und Naturfasertechnologie' beschäftigt sich damit, wie erneuerbare Rohstoffe wie Holz und Naturfasern als Werk- und Baustoffe eingesetzt und optimiert werden können. Studierende erwerben Kenntnisse in Naturwissenschaften, Technik und Sozioökonomie, was sie auf die Herausforderungen in einer nachhaltigen Kreislaufwirtschaft vorbereitet. Students study the properties and uses of wood and natural fibers, along with innovative applications in various industries. The curriculum emphasizes sustainable practices and technological advancements in material processing and product development.
The program is structured over six semesters, including theoretical courses and practical training. It culminates in a bachelor’s thesis that integrates knowledge from all areas of study, alongside a four-week internship in industry settings.
Graduates develop competencies in sustainable resource management, material science, and project management, preparing them for active roles in various sectors related to wood and biobased materials.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
