Certificate of Internship in Equine Medicine
The Rotating Internship in Equine Medicine is designed for recent veterinary medicine graduates. This postgraduate training program aims to enhance and apply the knowledge and skills acquired during veterinary studies in clinical practice. Interns will rotate through various equine medicine specializations under expert supervision, gaining comprehensive post-graduate education and practical experience.
The program covers a wide array of topics within equine medicine, focusing on both surgical and medical treatment. Interns will gain hands-on experience through rotations and specialized modules tailored to the field.
Interns rotate through various specialties during the 2-semester program, involving both day and night shifts. This structure allows for practical application of knowledge and skills in clinical settings, culminating in a certification upon successful completion of the internship.
Graduates will acquire enhanced clinical competencies, including practical skills in equine medicine, the ability to work in high-pressure environments, and a robust theoretical foundation in veterinary practices related to equines.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
