Master of Science (MSc)
The Master of Science in Medical Physics program builds on prior knowledge and focuses on advanced topics in medical imaging, radiation safety, and treatment planning. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for professional roles in clinical environments and research institutions.
Students will study medical imaging technologies, the physics of radiation therapy, and the biological effects of ions on human tissue. Emphasis will be placed on the ethical responsibilities of physicists in the medical field.
The program is organized over four semesters, with a combination of theoretical lectures and practical lab work. Students will culminate their studies with a master's thesis based on independent research.
Graduates will possess advanced knowledge in medical physics, practical skills in using medical devices, and an understanding of patient care protocols. They will be well-equipped to engage in interdisciplinary teams in healthcare settings.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
