Das Bachelorstudium Pferdewissenschaften an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien vermittelt umfassendes Basiswissen über die theoretischen und praktischen Aspekte der Pferdewirtschaft. Die Studierenden lernen durch Gastvorträge und praxisnahe Übungen, wie die Gesundheitsfürsorge und Betriebswirtschaft in der Pferdewirtschaft integriert werden. Das Studium ermöglicht die Vorbereitung auf eine Karriere in verschiedenen Bereichen der Pferdewissenschaft und bietet praktische Erfahrungen durch ein integriertes Praktikum.
Das Studium konzentriert sich auf die Vermittlung von Wissen zur Gesundheit, Pflege und Zucht von Pferden. Agrar- und betriebswirtschaftliche Module, sowie praxisorientierte Lehrinhalte sind ebenfalls Teil des Curriculums.
Das Programm ist in sechs Semester gegliedert, wobei ein praktisches Studium von 17 Wochen erforderlich ist. Die Studierenden haben die Möglichkeit, ihre Kenntnisse in verschiedenen phasenbasierten Praktika zu vertiefen.
Absolventen erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse in der Pferdepathologie, -betreuung und -wirtschaft. Sie sind in der Lage, verantwortungsvolle Positionen in der Pferdebranche zu übernehmen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
