Bachelor of Education (BEd)
The Bachelor in Informatik und Digitale Grundbildung provides students with a scientifically grounded and vocational education for teaching at all secondary schools. Students will learn relevant IT methods and techniques and how to teach them to students in an engaging manner. The program also includes a solid foundation in computer science to prepare graduates for other fields beyond teaching.
Students will study topics such as computer science fundamentals, digital education methods, and the integration of technology in teaching. Emphasis is placed on practical application and pedagogical approaches.
The program is organized over eight semesters, including internships and a final thesis. Students will engage in both theoretical and practical phases, allowing for hands-on experience.
Graduates will acquire competencies in teaching computer science and digital education. They will also gain skills in developing informative systems and educational software.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
