Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The Doctoral Program in Artificial Intelligence focuses on the development and enhancement of AI technologies. This program trains students in advanced research methodologies and the application of AI solutions in various fields. Through practical and theoretical approaches, students engage with cutting-edge research in AI, preparing them for influential roles in academia or industry.
Students will study core topics in artificial intelligence and engage in extensive research focused on developing intelligent systems. The curriculum covers both theoretical foundations and practical applications of AI, fostering innovation and creativity.
The program is structured over six semesters, involving a combination of coursework, research, and a doctoral dissertation. Students will also participate in seminars and internships to enhance their applied skills.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
