The MA in Performance is designed to build on students' existing technical skills and enhance their musical interpretation. This specialized program focuses on developing artistic expression, allowing students to explore different musical periods and stylistic areas. Graduates are prepared to pursue a professional career in various fields such as solo performance, chamber music, and orchestral work.
Students study advanced performance techniques across several musical styles focusing on the harpsichord. The program encompasses auditory skills, repertoire mastery, and artistic independence.
The master's program is modular and structured over four semesters, combining performance courses with theoretical studies. Students complete a thesis and have opportunities for international study exchanges during the program.
Graduates will master the harpsichord at a high professional level, possess in-depth knowledge of various repertoire styles, and have skills in academic research and critical analysis. They will also develop competencies in teamwork and performance optimization.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
