Das Masterstudium Lehramt im Unterrichtsfach Kunst und Gestaltung vertieft und erweitert fachdidaktische, fachwissenschaftliche und kunstpraktische Kenntnisse. Es bildet somit die Grundlage für die Qualifikation als Lehrer in der Sekundarstufe. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Sammeln und Reflektieren unterrichtspraktischer Erfahrungen, der Weiterentwicklung der eigenständigen künstlerischen Praxis und dem Beforschen produktiver, rezeptiver und vermittelnder Zugänge zu Kunst, Bildern und Medien.
Das Studium umfasst fachdidaktische, kunstpraktische und wissenschaftliche Kurse. Es wird auf die Anforderungen im Lehrberuf und die Vermittlung von Kunst im schulischen Kontext eingegangen.
Das Studium besteht aus vier Semestern, wobei die Studierenden in zwei Unterrichtsfächern Kenntnisse vertiefen und Praktika absolvieren.
Absolvent innen erlangen Kompetenzen in der Kunstvermittlung und können eigenständig unterrichten. Sie eignen sich Kenntnisse in Theorie und Praxis an.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
