Das Masterstudium Lehramt im Unterrichtsfach Kunst und Gestaltung vertieft und erweitert fachdidaktische, fachwissenschaftliche und kunstpraktische Kenntnisse. Die Ausbildung bereitet auf die Qualifikation als Lehrer tin der Sekundarstufe vor. Es wird Wert auf die Entwicklung einer eigenständigen künstlerischen Praxis sowie auf die Beforschung verschiedener Zugänge zu Kunst und Medien gelegt.
Im Studium werden Kenntnisse in Kunst und Gestaltung, unterschiedliche Lehrmethoden, sowie die Kunstvermittlung vermittelt. Die Studierenden lernen zudem, künstlerische Prozesse zu reflektieren und zu steuern.
Das Studium besteht aus insgesamt vier Semestern. Es umfasst praktische Studienanteile, theoretische Fächer sowie eine Masterarbeit, die alle auf die Berufspraxis als Lehrer tin vorbereiten.
Absolvent tinnen erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse in der Kunstpädagogik, der Kunstpraxis sowie tiefgehende fachdidaktische Fähigkeiten. Sie sind in der Lage, als Lehrkraft in verschiedenen schulischen Kontexten zu agieren.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
