Das Bachelorstudium Instrumental- & Gesangspädagogik zielt auf die künstlerische, pädagogische und wissenschaftliche Ausbildung der Studierenden. Im Studienverlauf erwerben die Studierenden umfassende Fähigkeiten zur Vermittlung von Musik und zum Erteilen von qualifiziertem Musikunterricht. Der Abschluss ermöglicht die Lehrbefähigung für österreichische Musikschulen sowie Zugang zu verschiedenen musikpädagogischen und -praktischen Tätigkeiten.
Das Studium umfasst Themen wie Musiktheorie, Musikpädagogik und praktische musikalische Fähigkeiten. Studierende lernen, Musik in verschiedenen Kontexten zu vermitteln, sei es Schule oder freiberufliche Tätigkeiten. Zudem wird solistische und ensembleartige Musizierpraxis vermittelt.
Das Bachelorstudium besteht aus verschiedenen Phasen, darunter künstlerische Prüfungen, Module in Musiktheorie und praktische Anwendungen. Es erstreckt sich über acht Semester, mit einer finalen Bachelorarbeit und kommissionellen Prüfungen im künstlerischen Bereich und der Musikpädagogik.
Die Absolvent:innen erlangen fundierte Kenntnisse in Musiktheorie, Pädagogik und künstlerischen Fähigkeiten. Sie sind befähigt, Musikunterricht zu erteilen und in verschiedenen musikpädagogischen Bereichen tätig zu werden.
