The Teacher Training for Music Bachelor's program focuses on essential skills for classroom music teaching, encompassing didactics, pedagogy, practical musicianship, music theory, and musicology. Students receive comprehensive musical training and complete practical teaching placements to prepare for the teaching profession.
The program is structured over six semesters and combines foundational courses with artistic specialization in instrumental or vocal studies. Students engage in practical pedagogical studies and are encouraged to participate in courses at partner institutions to enhance their learning experience.
Graduates develop a diverse range of competencies including musical performance, teaching methods, and music education theory. They are equipped to guide others in music expression and understand music's socio-cultural context.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
