The Bachelor's program IGP Zither aims to acquire differentiated artistic, pedagogical, and scientific competencies for teaching music in various forms. Upon successful completion, graduates receive teaching authorization for Austrian music schools in their respective major and elective modules. The program enables graduates to teach qualified music lessons tailored to the profile of music schools and other educational institutions.
The study content includes instrumental pedagogy, music theory, and practical performance. Students will explore different areas of music education and performance practices relevant to the Zither.
The program is divided into semesters, comprising various modules that include both theoretical and practical components. Students must complete a bachelor's thesis and a final practical performance exam.
Graduates will gain competencies in music teaching, performance, and educational theory, enabling them to pursue careers in music education and related fields.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
