The ÖÄK-Diploma in Gender Medicine offers a comprehensive overview of evidence-based research on gender medicine, focusing on the differences in prevention, diagnosis, and therapy for men and women. Participants study various aspects of Gender Medicine, including the role of gender in health and illness. The curriculum includes modules on women's and men's health, gastroenterology, and emergency medicine, reinforcing the significance of gender in clinical decision-making.
The program consists of 10 two-day modules, conducted over a period of two semesters. Each module is designed to introduce key themes and integrate practical applications through discussions and case studies.
Graduates will gain competencies in gender-sensitive medical practices, research methodology in Gender Medicine, and strategies for addressing gender-related health issues in patient care.

If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation

Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
