The Individuelles Studium at the Master level allows for an even deeper exploration of specialized topics and combining interdisciplinary subjects. It is structured to enhance academic and practical skills aligned with professional ambitions. Students engage in intensive project work and research, often in collaboration with industry professionals. This program prepares graduates for leadership roles or advanced positions in their chosen fields.
The Individuelles Studium program allows students to combine subjects from various diploma, bachelor's, or master's programs into a personalized study plan. This unique approach focuses on tailoring the educational experience to match individual interests and career goals.
Students must submit a curriculum proposal detailing their study plan, which will then be reviewed and approved. The program typically requires at least one semester of preparation before starting the actual studies, ensuring a comprehensive organization of the individual curriculum.
Graduates of the Individuelles Studium program develop a diverse set of competencies, including critical thinking, interdisciplinary knowledge, and specific expertise in chosen subjects. They are equipped with the skills necessary to pursue a variety of professional paths.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
