Master of Arts (MA)
The Master's degree program in Art and Visual Practice builds on the Bachelor's degree program and focuses on in-depth subject-specific, didactic, and academic skills essential for qualified teaching. The course deepens the artistic and academic knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's program and encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, creating a networked approach to tackling complex educational challenges.
Students will study artistic practices with a focus on didactic methods and interdisciplinary collaboration. The program emphasizes reflection on teaching experiences and art projects.
The study is organized into four semesters and includes artistic projects, theoretical courses, and hands-on teaching practice with internships available.
Graduates will acquire competencies in both artistic and educational contexts, equipping them with skills necessary for reflective practice in schools.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
