FILMATELIER 2009 is focused on the creative aspects of film and media arts, offering students a strong foundation in visual storytelling and media production. The program includes lectures from renowned filmmakers and practical hands-on workshops. Students explore various film techniques and digital media, fostering innovative storytelling and artistic expression. Career outcomes include roles in film production, direction, and multimedia art.
In this program, students study the principles of film production, visual aesthetics, and narrative structure. The curriculum includes practical training in cinematography, editing, and sound design, as well as theoretical courses on film analysis and history.
The program is structured over six semesters, combining lectures, practical projects, and internships. In the final semester, students focus on developing a thesis project that showcases their skills and knowledge acquired throughout the course.
Graduates emerge with strong technical skills in film production and a deep understanding of narrative and visual communication. They are trained to approach film projects creatively and critically, preparing them for various roles in the media industry.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
